Yogyakarta, October 28, 2026 — Universitas Gadjah Mada’s (UGM) Korean Language and Culture Study Program continues to broaden its students’ horizons through a recent collaboration with the Korea International Trade Association (KITA). Themed “K-Business One Day Class goes to UGM,” the event was successfully held on October 28, 2026, in Room Margono 404 at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, UGM, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

The event was officially opened with welcoming remarks from the Chief Representative of KITA and the Head of the UGM Korean Language and Culture Study Program. Their speeches highlighted the importance of practical industry knowledge to better equip students for future career challenges, particularly within the context of Indonesia-South Korea bilateral relations.

Beyond theoretical presentations, the class was highly interactive. Students had the valuable opportunity to participate in simulations, practicing proper job interview etiquette in accordance with Korean corporate standards.

This educational event concluded with a certificate distribution session for all participating students. Through the “K-Business One Day Class,” it is hoped that UGM’s Korean Language and Culture students will be more prepared, competitive, and confident as they launch their careers in the multinational business arena.
