On 21st of October 2023, Korean Language and Culture Student Association (HIMAHARA) carried out a collaboration work with the King Sejong Institute Yogyakarta (KSIY) on Saturday (21/10) in the Soegondo building of FIB, room 627. This event was held with the aim of introducing life in South Korea through photos taken by sources while living in South Korea. This activity began with a talk show by guest speaker Kim Seulgi, a content creator from Korea who currently lives in Yogyakarta who is also a native teacher of KSIY. Then, it was continued by a talk show by Iva Hanani, a lecturer at UGM Korean Language and Culture study program who has lived in Korea for three years during her master’s studies.

After listening to the stories told by the speakers, the MC threw some questions and for those who could answer the quiz, they were given prizes. The participants looked enthusiastic to ask questions to the speakers and also competed tightly with each other during the quiz session.

Apart from the talk show, the participants enjoyed the photos that were displayed on the wall magazine located in the lobby of the Soegondo building, 1st floor. Inside the wall, it contained around 45 photos and also stories from language and language students of Korean culture during their student exchange to South Korea.
