The KORINDO Scholarship Award Ceremony for 2023-2024 Academic Year

17th of  November 2023 – Korean Language and Culture Program Studies of UGM organized an awarding ceremony of Korindo Scholarship. The lecturers and the freshmen studens attended the event. The event was started by a traditional Korean Fan Dance or well known as Buchaechum and continued to the opening  speech of Faculty of Cultural Science’s dean, Prof. Dr. Setiadi, S.Sos., M.Si and the speech of Korindo’s representative,Mr. Seo Jeong Sik as a general secretary of Korindo.

The next agenda was the announcement of students who were selected as scholarship awardees. Below is the list of awardees. 

  1. Raihana Alfiyya Riqqa Aldila
  2. Sharica Puri Izzati
  3. Megan Equilia Hanum
  4. Indicha Yusha Meynandha
  5. Leni Wulandari

Students also had an opportunity to deliver their gratitude to Korindo during the event. 

“Thank you for Korindo Group which gave this scholarship to me and always support and motivate us, as students of Korean language and culture, to do excellent work in academic and non academic paths. I will use the scholarship to level up my Korean language” -Raihana

“First, I am so proud of myself as an awardee. I also want to thank Korinda for their generous support. This scholarship is a great financial help. I will use this fund for paying my next semester’s registration fee and another need in the future-Sharinca

“By receiving the scholarship of Korindo, I would like to thank the Korindo group for lifting the financial burden and smoothing my academic journey. I expect this scholarship became my stepping stone in my bright future.-Megan

“With this scholarship, I want to be more cheerful and have decided to study Korean harder. After I graduate, I want to work in a Korean company and I know that it needs a high level of qualification. Using this fund, I plan to buy several books which can advance my skill. I will use the rest of money wisely” -Indicha

“For me, this scholarship meant a lot. Besides helping me financially, this scholarship was the last good thing I ever told my late Dad. Thus, I will use this fund as best as I can for my education. Once more, Thanks” -Leni

The event was closed by the performance of Hansamchum and attendee’s group photo.This scholarship award showed the commitment of cooperation between Korindo Group and Korean Language and Culture Program Studies.
