Scientific Vision
To become an excellent study program at the national and international levels in the field of Korean language, literature, and culture, with a commitment to humanity, a national perspective, and based on Pancasila.

Profile Description

1. Academician Graduates who are experts and able to carry out the tridharma of higher education (education, research, community service) in the fields of Korean language, literature, and culture.
2. Researcher Graduates who are skilled and able to prepare, design, and carry out research and are able to process and present research results in the field of Korean language, literature, and culture in the form of research reports or scientific articles.
3. Korean Language Teacher Graduates who are able and skilled to teach basic, intermediate, and advanced Korean to students in accordance with the objectives of learning Korean in various formal secondary education institutions, such as high schools/vocational schools, and informal education institutions, such as Training and Skills Institutions.
4. Translator/interpreter Graduates who are able and skilled in translating/interpreting various forms of Korean language communication into Indonesian or vice versa properly and correctly.
5. Administrator Graduates who are able and skilled in carrying out various Korean-based administrative activities and tasks in various institutions or companies (Korea).
6. Jurnalist/reporter/editor Graduates who are able to explore, process, narrate, publish, and present in writing or orally various issues/topics in print or electronic media.
7. Entrepreneur Graduates who have the ability to move in the business sector, such as the creative industry based on Korean (language, literature, and culture) as a source of creative inspiration, both in the form of products and services offered in real terms and/or via social media (content creator).

It is correct and cultured behavior as a result of internalization and actualization of values and norms that are reflected in spiritual and social life through the learning process, student work experience, research and/or community service related to learning.

  1. demonstrate a Pancasilaist attitude and awareness of the interests of the nation and state;
  2. demonstrate honesty, responsibility, self-confidence, emotional maturity, ethics, and awareness of being a lifelong learner.
Knowledge

It is the systematic mastery of concepts, theories, methods and/or philosophies of a particular field of science which is obtained through reasoning in the learning process, student work experience, research and/or community service related to learning.

  1. mastering basic knowledge in the field of humanities, including language, literature, and culture in general;
  2. mastering theoretical concepts in the field of language, literature, and cultural knowledge;
  3. mastering the basic theory of translation;
  4. mastering the techniques of writing scientific papers in the fields of language, literature, and culture in general; and
  5. having knowledge in the field of Korean language, literature, and culture.
General Skills

General Skills
These skills represent the ability to perform tasks using concepts, theories, methods, materials, and/or instruments acquired through learning, work experience, research, and/or community service related to learning.
General skills refer to general work competencies that every graduate must possess to ensure the equivalence of graduate abilities according to the level of the program and type of education.

  1. able to apply logical, critical, systematic, and innovative thinking in the context of developing or implementing science and technology that pays attention to and applies humanities values in accordance with their field of expertise ;
  2. able to develop networks, adapt, create, contribute, supervise, evaluate and make decisions in order to demonstrate independent and group performance to apply science to community life .
Special Skills

Special skills as special work abilities that must be possessed by every graduate according to the scientific field of the Study Program.

  1. able to communicate in Korean, both orally and in writing in formal and informal contexts, with a minimum Korean language proficiency of level 4 TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean Language);
  2. able to utilize research results and other works on Korean language, literature, and culture;
  3. able to conduct research in the field of Korean language, literature, and culture;
  4. able to write scientific papers related to Korea; and
  5. able to translate and interpret various forms of Korean language communication into Indonesian and vice versa properly and correctly.
