Spring 2026 Kyungpook National University Exchange Program

UGM’s Korea Language and Cultural Study Program got you a Greetings from Kyungpook National University!

KNU is looking forward to welcoming outstanding students to be a part of KNU through the exchange program. And we are processing all incoming applications for the Spring 2026 admission as follows.

 

Application Requirements

  1. Online application (link will be announced in a separate email after)
  2. Letter of nomination from applicant’s home university
  3. Official certificate of enrollment from the applicant’s home university (an apostille or notarized from the embassy of Korea is mandatory for non-OECD countries)
  4. Official transcripts from the applicant’s home university
  5. Copy of passport (face & data page, must be valid 6 months beyond the day of departure)
  6. Color ID photo (not an ID card but a face photo)
  7. Bank statement with an amount of KRW 8,000,000 (for a semester)

 

Visa (Student Exchange Visa, D-2-6)

Once KNU accepts students, they will receive the certificate of admission, KNU business registration, and acceptance letter in the middle of January in 2026.

Once they receive the documents, students must apply for a student visa (D-2-6 for exchange students, D-2-2 for double degree students) to Korea. Getting a student visa before traveling to Korea is mandatory for all international incoming students. Please do not travel to Korea wiouth the proper visa, and do not apply for the visa in Korea.

When they apply for a visa, their passport must be valid 6 months ahead.

 

Dormitory

Campus dormitory applications will be announced after acceptance.

  • Deadline: October 8th, 2025

Course list in 2025: spring 2025 courses, fall 2025 courses (the new course list for spring 2026 will be updated in the middle of January in 2026)

Spring 2026 semester dates: March 3, 2026 to June 30, 2026 (expected)
