Yogyakarta, 13–14 September 2025 — On Saturday and Sunday, September 13–14, 2025, the Korean Language and Culture Student Association (HIMAHARA) of Universitas Gadjah Mada held its annual Fellowship Training. This year’s event carried the theme 부석순 [Buseoksun] (SEVENTEEN) “청바지” [Cheongbaji], an acronym of 청춘은 바로 지금 [Cheongchuneun Baro Jigeum], which means “youth is now”. The theme was inspired by the boy group SEVENTEEN’s song “청바지” [Cheongbaji]. The first day took place at Soegondo Auditorium, 7th Floor, while the second day was held at the Greenland Margono courtyard. The event was attended by freshmen of the Korean Language and Culture Program, Class of 2025, with the Class of 2024 serving as the organizing committee.

On the first day, the Fellowship Training 2025 was enlivened by a talk show session featuring Larasati Luhur Satyaningrum, a student from the Class of 2022, and Vanesa Olivia (Program Officer at KF and writer for CoppaMagz) as guest speakers. Through this session, the seniors shared insights regarding the Korean Language and Culture Program at UGM. Following the talk show, the event continued with various entertaining performances by the freshmen of Class of 2025, including singing, drama, and dance.

The second day of Fellowship Training 2025 took place on September 14, 2025, filled with activities such as group exercise, Random Play Dance, and a series of fun games including Korean Tongue Twister, Ddakji, Guess the Song, Telepathy, Balloon Relay, Cham Cham Cham, Idol Puzzle, Absolute Pitch, Rabbit Game, and concluded with the Mugunghwa Game.

Fellowship Training 2025 is one of HIMAHARA’s flagship programs aimed at strengthening a sense of togetherness and introducing the Korean Language and Culture Program to freshmen of Class of 2025. In addition, this event serves as a platform for students to gain valuable information about future opportunities and helps foster a supportive community for academic life.
